I was looking at the jacket... its a size 46 which if im reading online right is a 40 waist... Or he could be meaning its a XL ... Either way... Im afraid it would be too big... The pants alone are almost worth it though... hmm...

What are your thoughts on the FRANK THOMAS XTi One-Piece suit... I can get a green one, but the reviews are mixed... but its only 350, and I may be able to afford it soon...

The pants alone are almost worth it though... hmm... A 46 jacket correctly zips to 36 pants. A 40 jacket zipper would be 6 inches too short. Unless youre goard shaped that wouldn't work. A 40 jacket would zip to size 30 pants.

But would the jacket be huge in the chest area? Im kinda skinny and not buff... I think my chest is like 40 inches and my arms are super long...

You just have to go try them on. All leathers fit differently.

Well I have some good news and bad news... I went to cycle gear in Salem and tried on a frank Thomas XTI leather 1 piece suit... The smallest was a 44 and it seemed very big in the knees and chest, and hips... I tried on the pants in a 32 and they were too tight... so I am a 34 in the pants... Then I tried a 42 jacket and it fit really tight, but comfortable... So I could create a two piece suit it looks like... but It wont be green ... and the green 1 piece is sold out in 42... I know a size 40 would be too small... Any thoughts on what I should do? My official price range is $350.00 I decided... I'm liking the XTI stuff... but if I did that I would probably get white top and black bottoms.... Here is the link to the jacket and pants I would combine... www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=5000&L2=2&L3=108&L4=111&item=FTL_FTL277-BE-38_Gwww.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=5000&L2=2&L3=108&L4=111&item=FTL_FTL278-BZ-30_GAny thoughts and or recommendations are welcome... I probably have a month before I will get them...

Looks like a good buy to me, I definitely prefer a two piece for riding on the street. I would shy away from getting all green gear, on the freak chance that the next bike you buy isn't green. As you well know you want stuff that zips together all around the waist. It's noce to try stuff on before you buy, it all fits different. I have bought two size 40 Teknic Chicane suits that fit me, and then bought a pair of Teknic Chicane pants in size 30, theoretically the same, but they were WAY too big, I had to return them.
